Lip blush before and after - look at the healed result
Immediately after treatment, the colour looks stronger and the lips may appear slightly swollen. This is not the final result. The shade softens and settles during healing, so healed photographs offer the clearest picture of the finished look.
Results vary with the natural lip colour, skin, aftercare and individual healing response.
What can permanent lip makeup achieve?
Permanent lip makeup enhances the natural colour and shape. It may make pale or uneven lips look fresher, define a faint border and reduce the need for lipstick or pencil. It does not add physical volume or replace lip filler.
How is the colour selected?
A natural result is not one universal shade. We consider your complexion, natural lip colour, everyday style and preferred intensity. A favourite lipstick can provide inspiration, but pigment heals differently on different natural lip tones.
What happens during the appointment?
1
Consultation
We discuss expectations, health, previous pigmentation and contraindications.
2
Colour and outline
We select a colour direction and agree on an outline that respects the natural lip shape.
3
Pigmentation
The pigment is introduced gradually and precisely using hygienic procedures.
4
Aftercare
You receive clear instructions explaining care and the healing stages.
5
Healed-result review
Once the colour settles, we assess pigment retention and the need for a touch-up.
Lip blush healing process
Treatment day: the colour is vivid and mild tenderness or swelling may occur.
The first few days: dryness and light flaking may appear. Do not rub or pick the skin.
After flaking: the shade may look very pale. This is temporary.
After about 4-6 weeks: the colour settles and the healed result and need for a touch-up can be assessed.
How to prepare
Keep the lips moisturised and avoid harsh exfoliation immediately before treatment. Tell me about old permanent makeup, medication, allergies, health conditions, recent lip procedures and a history of cold sores. An active cold sore, infection or broken skin means the appointment must be postponed. Discuss any antiviral prevention with a doctor.
Lip blush aftercare
Follow the care recommended during your appointment. Keep the area clean, avoid touching it with unwashed hands and allow light flaking to come away naturally. Avoid products and activities that may irritate the area until it has healed.
How long does lip blush last?
The result usually lasts about 1.5-3 years and gradually fades. Longevity depends on skin, pigment, technique, sun exposure, skincare and individual metabolism.
